TYPE IV
TYPE IV cements are obtained by grinding clinker, gypsum and certain pozzolanic materials, and are available in strength classes 32.5 N and 32.5 R – 42.5 N and 42.5 R. It is also available as a Type SR, obtained by using a special clinker with a low aluminate content, which is essential for making the product resistant to sulfate attacks.
These cements are all suitable for preparing standard and special cements, and other elements that require greater resistance to chemical attack.
Conformity
- European standard EN 197/1, which defines and specifies standard cements (separated into strength class and type), compliance criteria and the respective regulations, chemical/physical/mechanical requirements and the constituent requirements
- European standard EN 197/1, which defines and specifies special cements (separated into strength class and type), which are resistant to sulfate attack in aggressive environments: the standard also specifies the compliance criteria and the respective regulations, chemical/physical/mechanical requirements and the constituent requirements
- European regulation 305/2011 (CPR), which establishes the harmonized standards for the declaration of performance and for the use of the CE marking for building products
