Buzzi is present in Slovenia through the associates (25% of share capital) Alpacem Cement, a subsidiary of  Wietersdorfer Alpacem (Austria), located about 30 km from Gorizia.

Alpacem Cement is the leading producer of cement in Slovenia, with high technological standards and a production capacity of ca 1.3 m tons/year. The company has one integrated cement plant, three aggregate quarry locations and one distribution terminal. It operates also in ready-mix concrete sector with 3 batching plants.
